Holy Justice 3.0 Soldier Build (Warhammer: Chaosbane)

Holy Justice 3.0

This build is the second (3.0) update to my Holy Justice Soldier Build for Konrad Vollen. The build is a melee centric one and includes a lot of dmg reduction to allow face-tanking our enemies 95% of the time as well as amazing healing that comes when using the Thrice-Blessed Copper Medal (heals 20% HP when using god skills) + Sigmar’s Bastion and its pew-pew-pew beams combo. There will be rare cases when we’ll need to move out of harms way for a moment before running back in. It’s good for both solo and group play.

The gear I recommend using is:

  • The Solland’s Fate Set (Solland’s Ghost) that gives nice cooldown reduction procs when blocking
  • a Blade of Vengeance Sword (it gives 20% dmg & 3% dmg reduction per stack when blocking up to 10 stacks of total 200% dmg and 30% dmg reduction)
  • any shield with good rolls
  • Thrice-Blessed Copper Medal (heals 20% HP when using god skills)
  • Signet Ring of Fortification gives dmg reduction and hp for the price of dmg (or other of your choice with good rolls such as Ring of Resurgence)
  • Signet Ring of Fortitude for dmg reduction when picking bloodlust orbs (or other of your choice with good rolls such as Ring of Resurgence)

The recommended stats to look for in each item are:

The Skills and Passives I recommend are:

Setup 1:  Standard Version

  • any energy generator basic (it’s a filler slot so might even keep it empty)
  • Justice of the Empire Heroic (main dps source)
  • Sigmar’s Blessing basic (buffs for dmg, block chance, and energy regen)
  • Banner of the Empire Superior [or the other banner superior] (for dmg or dmg reduction)
  • Break Through the Ranks  basic (for faster mobility)
  • Sigmar’s Bastion Mastered (crit chance and crit dmg buffs + dmg when spamming it + procs our amulet’s heals when spamming it + immunity to control effects)
  • Divine Judgement Mastered (nearby enemies deal 20% less dmg & take 20% more dmg)
  • Blessing of the Brave Mastered (gain crit chance & crit dmg based on block chance & block dmg but loose 50% of both)
  • Herald of the Empire Mastered (20% dmg or 20% dmg reduction buff based on what banner we are using)
  • Indestructible Mastered (20% block chance and gets bonus dmg based on block chance)
  • Bastion Against Corruption basic (for each nearby enemy 2% dmg reduction and 2% dmg so 20%  when at max 10 stacks)
  • Duelist’s Chain Reaction (up to 400% crit  dmg which is 4 stacks of 100%)

Setup 2:  Sigmar’s Herald Version

  • Shielded Charge basic (it’s a filler slot so might put Justice of the Empire & add Break Through the Ranks basic for mobility OR put an energy generator there OR use Taunt basic there)
  • Justice of the Empire Heroic (main dps source)
  • Sigmar’s Blessing basic (buffs for dmg, block chance, and energy regen)
  • Banner of the Empire Superior [or the other banner superior] (for dmg or dmg reduction)
  • Sigmar’s Herald basic (aoe aura that taunts enemies, pulses to do dmg & also makes enemies take 30% more dmg)
  • Sigmar’s Bastion Superior (crit chance buff + 20% dmg reduction dmg when spamming it + procs our amulet’s heals when spamming it + immunity to control effects)
  • Majestic Aura Mastered (all players get 20% dmg & 10% dmg reduction) [this needs a buff/rebalance to be equal to Divine Judgement]
  • Blessing of the Brave Superior (gain crit chance & crit dmg based on block chance & block dmg but loose 50% of both)
  • Herald of the Empire Mastered (20% dmg or 20% dmg reduction buff based on what banner we are using)
  • Indestructible Mastered (20% block chance and gets bonus dmg based on block chance)
  • Divine Reprisal basic (taunted enemies take 20%  more dmg)
  • Duelist’s Chain Reaction (up to 400% crit  dmg which is 4 stacks of 100%)

The God Skill Tree has 2 versions and both use the two trees:

Version 1 – Standard Setup:

Version 2 – Sigmar’s Herald Setup:

  1. Lvl 3 7 so far and having a blast! This game gives me vibes of a casual PoE, lol. Thanks for all the info.

    1. Glad you enjoy the game. It really is fun to play every now and then as a casual looter. It’s got much less depth & build diversity than PoE but sometimes having a more casual experience is all we need to chill 🙂

    1. Hey, thanks for the comment. The second god skill trees are pay walled. You have to buy the “God Skills” DLC to unlock those. Sadly some classes don’t have many good builds without that one while others (like the mage) do
