Executing Blades 2.0 Scout Build (Warhammer: Chaosbane)

Executing Blades 2.0 a.k.a. Fidget Spinner Elessa

This build is the first (2.0) update to my Executing Blades Scout for Elessa. The build is a mid/long range centric one and includes a lot of cooldown reduction to allow spamming Spinning Blades Heroic as much as possible. We’re using the Executors daggers and stacking some HP Regen to get more dmg from those. The other items I’ve picked help us reduce the cooldown of Spinning Blades even further. The build is NOT as META as other builds nor is Elessa as META hero as some of the others so you won’t see OP dmg or OP survivability but still decent DMG and the good survivability will need to come mostly from gear and legendary rank skills.

Here is the build video on YouTube:

The gear I recommend using is:

  • The Eternal Queen (Queen-Chosen) that gives toxic aura (poison AoE) and +200% poison skills dmg
  • an Executors daggers (it gives XYZ% dmg based on our HP Regeneration)
  • a Master Archer Bow
  • Amber Talisman (procs CDR & energy gain)
  • Ring of the Guardian for more  chance to proc CDR (or other of your choice with good rolls… maybe a Chitin Links for survivabilty for the price of doing less dmg)
  • Old Ring of Resonance to proc stuns + a bit of AoE DMG (or other of your choice with good rolls)

The recommended stats to look for in each item are:

For the Helmet:

  • Cooldown Reduction (highest priority)
  • HP (high priority)
  • Health regen (high priority)
  • Armor (high priority)
  • Resistance to DoT (mid)

For the Chest & Leg Armor:

  • HP (high priority)
  • Health regen (high priority)
  • Armor (high priority)
  • Resistance to DoT (mid)

For the Boots:

  • HP (high priority)
  • Health regen (high priority)
  • Armor (high priority)
  • Movement Speed (mid priority)
  • Resistance to DoT (mid)

  • HP (high priority)
  • Health regen (high priority)
  • Armor (high/mid priority)
  • Crit DMG (high/mid priority)
  • Resistance to DoT (low)

For the Daggers:

  • Crit Chance (highest priority)
  • Damage (highest priority)
  • Cooldown Reduction (highest priority)
  • HP (high priority)
  • Crit DMG (high/mid)
  • Armor Piercing (high/mid priority)
  • Health Drain (mid)

For the Bow:

  • Damage (highest priority)
  • Cooldown Reduction (highest priority)
  • HP (high priority)
  • Crit DMG (high)
  • Armor Piercing (high/mid priority)
  • Health Drain (mid)

For the Amulet & Rings:

  • Crit Chance (highest priority)

The Skills and Passives I recommend are:

  • Crippling Blade basic (or an energy generator of your choice)
  • Spinning Blades Heroic (main dps source)
  • Hungry Roots Superior (dmg reduction also helps procing Duelist’s Chain Reaction)
  • Winds of Isha Mastered (HP regen and okay DoT)
  • Barbed Brambles Mastered (spamming this in-between blades stacks up loads of DoT procs that can proc the CDR from items and also adds up t the total dmg)
  • Queen’s Wrath basic (a wide HP regen aoe field + also does poison DoT and slows)
  • Guardian Spirit Mastered for the dmg reduction and HP regen (or another passive of your choice)
  • Duelist’s Chain Reaction (up to 400% crit  dmg which is 4 stacks of 100%)
  • Hero of the Desert (A bit of everything. We take it for the dmg reduction, dmg, and hp mostly)
  • Blessing of the Forest Superior (permanent HP regen)
  • Master of Poisons Superior (30% poison dmg increase)
  • Hunting Feast Superior (when poisoned enemies die a field may spawn that gives HP regen)

The God Skill Tree setup use the two trees:
